Cultivating a Culture of Leadership

Revised and Updated by Seth Preston on: September 26, 2019

At Trial Runners, we believe that positive sponsor relationships and successful clinical trials begin with a single factor: the right hire. We go to the ends of the earth, literally and almost figuratively, to recruit, select, train, retain, and mentor the right people for each vital role in the company. So, what’s the secret? It’s simple, really.

Step 1: Recruit the Best

This starts with recruitment- we hire for character, not just education and experience. We target those with integrity, drive, and commitment through our position postings, job fairs, and interaction with potential applicants. We’ve branded ourselves as an ethical work place with a strong moral compass and high standards.

Step 2: Be Selective

Next, we take selectivity to the next level. Our interview process is designed to gauge and measure character, and our screening process is designed to provide confirmation of education, achievements, and background. Still yet, an offer of employment is not extended unless the team as a whole believes in the applicant and, even further, sees potential for leadership in the applicant.

Step 3: Provide the Right Resources

New employee on-boarding at Trial Runners isn’t focused on just providing a company overview, but instead, providing a realistic, in-depth understanding of ophthalmology. Our role as an Ophthalmology CRO is to provide the best service we possibly can, and that starts at an individual level. To emphasize, training doesn’t stop when on-boarding is complete; it continues on a daily-basis. We invest in our team through conferences, courses, internal training, and much more.

Step 4: Keep the Best

When we find the best, we work feverishly to retain that talent long-term. We provide room to grow within Trial Runners, alongside performance-based incentives, excellent benefit packages, a positive culture, and extraordinary perks. We are dedicated to supporting our employees in their personal and professional endeavors, and show that commitment daily through human leadership.

The difference between Trial Runners and other CROs? Our people. And the difference between Trial Runners and other employers? Our leadership. To learn more about Trial Runners, explore us online  or contact us.
