Patrick Healy, MPH

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Patrick received his Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and his Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Carolina, School of Public Health.  After graduating, he worked at Schering-Plough and Hoffman-LaRoche in various monitoring, CRA, and manager roles.  In 2001, Patrick joined Eyetech Pharmaceuticals to co-manage the pivotal phase III clinical trial for Macugen®.  He then went on to work for Pfizer in the Department of Neurology managing post-marketing clinical trials for Relpax®.  Before launching Trial Runners, LLC, Patrick was recruited back to Eyetech in 2004 as Associate Director of Medical Strategy, providing strategic and management oversight to the post-marketing clinical research program for Macugen®.

 

Jill Healy

Founder, Chief Operating Officer

Jill received her Bachelors degree from North Dakota State University.  After graduating, she worked at Schering-Plough and Hoffman-LaRoche as a monitor and lead CRA.  In 2001, Jill joined Eyetech Pharmaceuticals to manage the Macugen® phase III pivotal trial and played a key role in the FDA approval of the drug.  Her most recent role at Eyetech was Associate Director in the Clinical Department where she hired, trained, and mentored CRA staff members working on Macugen® clinical trials.  In 2006, she began working toward the launch of Trial Runners, LLC.

 

Yordak Salermo

VP, Global Development

Yordak received his Bachelors in biological sciences from the State University of New Jersey at New Brunswick. He was appointed to spearhead the Global Development Department at Trial Runners, LLC in September 2008. Prior to his role at Trial Runners, he directed clinical trial activities for a mid-sized pharmaceutical company’s pulmonary compound in Latin America. His overseas experience also includes consulting for several different ophthalmology/medical device companies to develop and execute trials in established and emerging countries. In Yordak’s decade of experience, he has worked in several therapeutic areas in clinical operations, trial design, management and execution.
