Dickinson, ND, December 16, 2009—Trial Runners, LLC is excited to announce the start of their non-profit Contract Research Organization (CRO) independent affiliate called TR Cares. The mission of TR Cares is to support drug and device development by providing clinical research expertise, which enables novel medications to reach the marketplace quickly, safely and effectively. TR Cares will collaborate with non-profit drug development entities (universities, hospitals etc) and advance their clinical research program by offering services (consulting, project management, data management, safety, medical writing and quality control) at little to no cost. The cost of the clinical research program will be supported by donation of time by independent clinical research professionals, donation of resources by contract research organizations, by community donation and by payment from the non-profit partner. “For those who believe that they have found a real treatment option but can’t afford to develop it, who cannot get enough interest from larger pharmaceutical companies to purchase their product, or get venture capitalists to invest in it, there is a solution-TR Cares.” stated Jill Healy, President of TR Cares.

TR Cares has a very in-depth board of directors who are committed to seeing the vision and mission of TR Cares fulfilled. Jill Healy, COO of Trial Runners, LLC is the President of the board. Aaron Ondrey, Treasurer of TR Cares, has extensive experience in pharmaceutical and biotech finance and was previously employed with both Jerini Ophthalmic and (OSI) Eyetech, Inc.
